Attendize (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps you track class attendance. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. We’ve tried to keep it plain.
Account information. If you sign up or sign in (including with Google or Apple), we receive your email address and display name through Google Firebase Authentication in order to create and secure your account. We do not receive your password.
Class and attendance data. The classes you add and the attendance you log are stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device unless you choose to remove it.
Location data. With your permission (“While Using the App”), the app may use your location to provide proximity-based class reminders. This processing happens on your device; we do not collect or transmit your location.
Diagnostics. We do not collect analytics or advertising identifiers.
Account data persists until you delete your account. You can delete your account and erase on-device data anytime via Settings → Delete account, or wipe local data via Settings → Clear all data & start fresh. Deleting the app also removes locally stored data.
Attendize is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here.
